MNT, Inc. has registered dietitians on staff who provide medical nutrition therapy exclusively through the convenience of online video chats using your favorite device. We are licensed to provide care throughout the entire state of Kentucky and all visits are confidential and secure.
We specialize in working with patients who have conditions that can be managed with nutrition. Some examples of these conditions are:
- Obesity
- Weight Loss / Weight Gain
- Diabetes
- Abnormal Glucose
- Abnormal Blood Chemistry
- Hyperlipidemia
- Eating Disorders
- Malnutrition
- Hypertension
- Lipoprotein Deficiencies
- Vitamin Deficiencies
- Renal Disease
- Allergies
We accept most all commercial insurance and government funded insurance such as Medicare and will verify benefits prior to appointments. We are also a Diabetes Education Center, having helped thousands of diabetics manage and control their disease through education and nutrition.
Institutional Care
In addition to working with individual patients, we are also pleased to provide registered dietitians for many different settings including those for long-term care, acute care hospitals, dialysis centers, outpatient clinics, assisted living, rehabilitation and more.
Hiring a consultant rather than an employee has many benefits, including access to a team of dietitians with decades of clinical and food service experience, the ability to fill temporary, part-time or PRN positions, the elimination of overhead costs such as state and federal social security, Medicare, state taxes, paid vacation and sick days, paid health insurance, holidays, 401K and more. Plus, you never have to worry about staffing a dietitian position if someone is out of work.
We provide high-quality dietitians services in both clinical and food service settings and can offer assessment and assistance in facilitating delivery of effective nutritional care to residents by working through the facility staff to enhance the nutritional status, quality of life and dignity of residents and patients. We also complete clinical assessment needs of your residents and patients, provide consultation regarding cost-effective food purchasing, menu revision, recipe standardization, equipment evaluation and specifications, budgets and departmental policies and procedures.
